CGrADS Logistics
A block of rooms is reserved at the Hilton Houston Plaza under the name “CGrADS Site Visit.” You must call to confirm your room reservation with a credit card by September 29, 2001. After that time, rooms may be sold to the general public with reservations made to our group as space permits.

Directions from Houston's George Bush
Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Hilton (Medical Center):
- Take I-59 South to the Fannin St. Exit (Medical Center).
- Exit Fannin and turn left under the highway, go to Dryden and turn right.
- Take Dryden to Travis and turn left. Hotel will be on the left.
Directions from Houston Hobby
Airport (HOU) to the Hilton (Medical Center):
- Exit airport to 45 North.
- Take 45 North to Highway 59 South and go to the Fannin exit.
- Exit Fannin and turn left under the highway, go to Dryden and turn right.
- Take Dryden to Travis and turn left. Hotel will be on the left.
Getting onto Campus from the Hilton:
Shuttle transportation will be provided between the Hilton and Duncan Hall at Rice University. The shuttle will await your arrival in the hotel lobby beginning at 7:00 a.m. each morning.

Directions from Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Rice:
- From Bush's terminal road, follow signs to US 59 South.
- Once on US 59 South proceed approximately 25 miles and exit at Greenbriar.
- Turn left under US 59 and follow Greenbriar to the light at Rice Boulevard.
- Turn left onto Rice Boulevard and follow directions to designated
parking lot.
Directions from Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) to Rice:
- From Hobby's parking area, exit onto Broadway and follow signs to I-45 North.
- Take I-45 North approximately 6 miles to US 59 South.
- Once on US 59 South proceed approximately 3 miles and exit at Greenbriar.
- Turn left under US 59 and follow Greenbriar to the light at Rice Boulevard.
- Turn left onto Rice Boulevard and follow directions to designated
parking lot.
Shuttle service from Bush (IAH) and Hobby Airport:
The name of the shuttle service is Express Shuttle USA and they will pick you up from either Bush (IAH) or Hobby (HOU) Airport. You will need to go to the courtesy phone in the baggage claim area (preferably before you retrieve your luggage) and let Airport Express know that you have arrived and need transportation to the Hilton (Medical Center).

The last shuttle will depart at 11:30 p.m., so it is important that you let them know as soon as you arrive. The cost of the shuttle is :
- Bush Airport (IAH) - $20.00 each way ($35.00 round trip)
- Hobby Airport (HOU) - $15.00 each way ($25.00 round trip)

If you drive a car to campus, please send e-mail in advance to Kathryn O'Brien. A parking permit and directions to a designated lot will be provided.
