Research Experience:

  • Summer 2001: Utilized combinatorial techniques in a complex C++ algorithm, to produce an alternative lane selection process to the traditional method used in BMX racing.
  • Composed a first draft of all research done in an effort to publish an article in the near future
  • Summer 2000: Implemented various iterative methods in Matlab to solve eigenvalue and eigenvector problems.

  • Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Spelman College in May 2000
  • Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Society in 2000
  • Best Freshman Mathematics Student at Spelman College for 1996-1997
