Research Experience:

MicroGrid project's goal is to develop and implement a virtual grid infrastructure which provides a vehicle for convenient and scientific study of grid resource management issues. A virtual grid infrastructure will enable repeatable, controllable experimentation with dynamic resource management techniques. MicroGrid experimentation complements experimentation at full scale, and supports scientific evaluation of control algorithms over a wide variety of Grid configurations. Additional advantages may include reduced effort for simulation and increased observability of the experiments.
